I'm a commercial photographer in Michigan who works on location and remotely with brands and clients of all sizes.

When I grew up, we hung out in my dad's photography studio in the '80s. Since I was strong enough to lift the camera cases, I helped out. Each summer we would photograph weddings, learning how to create images for a client. He taught me to see the light and how it shapes the environment. My dad still hangs around the studio wanting to help with the next shoot.

I've been involved in a wide variety of projects over the past twenty years. As a result I have a great depth of lighting and creative problem solving. My experience working directly with brands and agencies has given me the opportunity to understand photography from a branding viewpoint, rather than just an artistic one. I can meet you where you are, supporting an in-house team or helping you craft a vision for your brand.

My main focus is on studio work while I am enjoying raising my own children. I have decided to work and homeschool so I am limiting some projects to best prioritize my life.  Working mostly to photograph food and products for companies in the midwest region.  I still enjoy taking on the occasional lifestyle, portraits or corporate photography projects so don't hesitate to reach out if you are curious.
